We're Here to Listen
I am currently fully booked for the foreseeable future and I am not taking on any further clients. I have therefore removed the initial consultation booking feature from my website.
If you feel that you would like to attend counselling with myself, please feel free to reach out via email, text message or on social media, and I can add you to my waiting list.
If you cannot wait, reach out anyway and I will try to direct you to the appropriate therapist for you.
Are you struggling? Are you experiencing issues in your life such as anxiety, depression, loneliness or the inability to control your emotions - but you don't know where to go or how to reach out for help?
Have you experienced a form of loss such as a bereavement or relationship breakdown? Maybe you've went through a traumatic event and you want to talk it through with someone? Or, there may be some issues within your family/personal life that you want to get off your chest?
Imagine if you could reach out to someone with ease, talk to them for 50 minutes a week in a non-judgemental environment and get things off your chest. All whilst learning helpful exercises, techniques and strategies to use throughout your lifetime.
Well, you can. If this sounds like something you'd like to do, you've came to the right place.
Seeking help is often the most difficult step of the journey, so well done for getting this far. However, I appreciate finding a suitable counsellor can also be a tough task.
I've been in the position of both client and counsellor, so I understand the anxiety of trying to find someone that is the right fit for you. I acknowledge that it can be a daunting experience, particularly if you've never attended counselling before. Therefore, I offer a free consultation session to answer any questions you may have around the counselling process.
I offer both short-term and long-term counselling and I have various evening/weekend slots available. If you decide to go ahead with the initial consultation we can discuss what the best outcome would be for you and work from there.
Here at SMC Counselling we acknowledge that it is not always possible to attend face-to-face counselling. Therefore, my practice is primarily based online. This allows individuals the flexibility to access counselling from wherever they feel most comfortable.
Therefore, we can provide people throughout the UK & Ireland with a high quality, online service for counselling.
As well as this, I offer face-to-face counselling in the Armagh area.
Please feel free to browse the rest of the website and if you still feel like reaching out for counselling you can book a consultation call or contact me directly through the details provided in the "Contact Us" page.
Our focus is to create a therapeutic environment for our clients and to help them become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and promoting a trustworthy and confidential client/counsellor relationship.
Our goal is to work alongside you and to help you grow from your struggles, listen to your experiences, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. Counselling is a process. This can be long or short, depending on the individual. However, we aim to work through this process with you.
